Ribbon-cutting at Morning Breeze Retirement Community on Friday

Greensburg, IN—The Greensburg/Decatur County Chamber of Commerce had the privilege of assisting in a ribbon-cutting at Morning Breeze Retirement Community on Friday. The ceremony was held for the gazebo which was once housed on the Decatur County Courthouse lawn. The gazebo was restored by Vinyl Solutions Unlimited in honor of Ray and Emily Shireman and was dedicated in their name. Morning Breeze staff and members of the Shireman family joined in the celebration. Both Ray and Emily had a big impact on the staff at Morning Breeze and such a love for family and Decatur County.

Ray and Emily shared their lives for 72 years, had five children, David, Robert, Alan, Lynn, and Annette. They were blessed with 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren at the time of their passing.
