(Batesville, IN) – Batesville High School will take the wraps off the new Innovation Center during tours from 6-7 tomorrow (Thursday) evening.
Before the tours, a ribbon cutting ceremony will take place at 5:45 with remarks from Mayor John Irrgang, Andy Saner with Accelerate Rural Indiana, Batesville Schools Superintendent Paul Ketcham and Darryl Floyd from Wood Mizer.
“This new center was made possible, in part, by a donation from Wood-Mizer and through a Regional Economic Acceleration and Development Initiative (READI) grant via the City of Batesville,” said Andy Allen, BHS principal. “Thanks to them, 28 sophomores and juniors are now learning welding in our building. We are grateful for the community support and welcome everyone to view our new space.”
You’re invited to tour the new wing during student-led tours, which will be given every 10 minutes.
Visitors are asked to park behind BHS and enter through Door IC3.
