WESTPORT, IN — A ribbon cutting was held Wednesday for the South Decatur Jr./Sr. High School Medical Sciences Center.

The center has a mission and footprint similar to the Cybersecurity Center that opened at North Decatur Jr./Sr. High School last fall but is geared toward students who have an interest in pursuing medical careers.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony was conducted by the Greensburg/Decatur County Chamber of Commerce.

The public was invited to tour the facility, learn about classes offered, meet current students and teachers, view recent projects, take part in hands-on demonstrations, and more.
