(Southeastern IN) – Area fire departments are reminding you to shovel snow from the front of the nearest hydrant, if you happen to have close by.
Fire officials say clearing hydrants in front of your home or business makes their job easier should they have to use them in an emergency situation.
The Greensburg Fire Department took to social media to drive the point home with a humorous twist (pictured).
