Republicans sweep races in Batesville

Batesville, IN—Batesville Republicans swept election night in all of the contested races.  City Council at Large winner is Republican Bill Flannery over Democrat candidate Pamela Simpson-Flodder 69% to 31% respectively.  In the City Council District 3 race, James (Jim) Fritsch was reelected 66% to 34% over Democrat candidate Andrew Cambron, and City Council District 4 race went to incumbent John Irrgang over Democrat candidate Paul Satchwill 67% to 31%. 

In the unopposed races, Mayor Mike Bettice will continue his second term as Batesville’s Mayor.  Paul gates will continue on as the Clerk-Treasurer and Councilman, and sole Democrat Darrick Cox remains in District 1 and Republican Tracy Rohlfing remains in District 2.
