Over the weekend, the Cincinnati Reds played the final two games of their road series with the Philadelphia Phillies.
In Saturday’s game, the Reds led by two in heading into the bottom of the ninth before giving up 3 runs in the final frame to lose 3-2. Spencer Steer went 1-4 with a home run and an RBI in the loss.
On Sunday, the Reds turned the table with their come-from-behind 6-4 win. Heading into the top of the ninth, the Reds trailed 4-3 with the bases loaded and Jake Fraley at the plate. Fraley would the knock three runs in with a bases clearing double to make it 6-4.
The Reds are now 4-4 on the season. They will return to action on Monday against the Atlanta Braves. WRBI will have the coverage of that game immediately following Coaches Corner around 6:50.
