Scott County, In. — The Scott County Sheriff’s Department has unveiled a redesigned patrol car in order to increase breast cancer awareness.
The car is assigned to deputy Joe Baker, his wife Alicia has been battling the disease for the last two-and-a-half years.
A statement from the department reads in part:
Alicia Baker shows the courage and fighting spirit that we all strive for. The Scott County Sheriff’s Office is a large family and we proudly stand with the Bakers as they fight on. We know by bringing awareness to this cause we can stand in solidarity as a community to support all families that may be going through similar situations.
