RCCF Announces 2025 First Round Small Grant Recipients

(Ripley County, IN) – The Ripley County Community Foundation awarded $3,500 in small grants to six local organizations during the first quarter of this year.

The grants will be used to help pay for equipment, supplies and other items important to the organizations.

First quarter small grant recipients received up to $1,000 to help with their projects.

  • New Marion Fire Department – To acquire a high-capacity dump tank, significantly expanding on-site water storage for more effective firefighting operations.
  • Ripley County Tourism Bureau – To host Art in Nature Art Show and Artisan Demonstrations at Versailles State Park.
  • South Ripley High School – To fund Raider Field Day, a weeklong series of events that engage students in team‐building activities while raising support for Relay for Life.
  • St. Louis Catholic Church – To subsidize participant expenses for the upcoming Triforce Mission Trip to East Bank, West Virginia.
  • Town of Osgood – To cover the cost of vital water-tower supplies, guaranteeing residents ongoing access to safe, clean drinking water.
  • Youth to Yellowstone of Ripley County – To purchase essential gear for 14 students embarking on a transformative trip to Yellowstone National Park.
