Greensburg, IN—The Decatur County Council will meet today at 9 am, October 22 at the Decatur County Courthouse.
The Council has a full agenda today but the public hearing on the proposed special purpose tax will actually be held on Thursday, October 31 at 9 am in the Council Chambers. The advertised proposal, printed in the Greensburg Daily News, states that the proposed increase is 0.15% from the current special purpose rate of 0.5% to 0.65%.
This increase would become effective on January 1, 2020.
