The Country Showdown will be at the Liberty Park Pavilion beginning at 7 p.m.
Tickets for the John Michael Montgomery concert at the Batesville Ball Plex in September are for sale there.

First Report (2:00 p.m.)
While there is a threat of rain showers this evening the annual Country Showdown will be proceed as originally scheduled. The event is currently set for 7:00 p.m. at the Liberty Park pavilion.
Organizers are considering moving the event to the Batesville High School auditorium if showers and storms continue.
A decision will be made by 5:00 p.m. and WRBI will get the word out.
