(Greensburg, IN) – Lucas Schmidt was sworn in as a Greensburg Police Officer at Tuesday night’s City Council meeting.
Mayor Joshua Marsh administered the oath to Schmidt, who was surrounded by his family (pictured).
Officer Schmidt is a Greensburg native who is a lateral transfer from the Brookville Police Department.
He previously spent time as a Decatur County detention deputy before graduating from the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy.
