Pirates Crossbones Relays Results

The Lady Pirates had a lot of great performances starting with the Champion Relay Team of Lily Grimes and Allison Ralston winning the Shot Put event. The duo of Grimes and Ralston were also Runner Up Champions of the Discus event.

Other Relay Championships came from the distance ladies. Brenner Hanna, Emily Mangels, Emma Wilmer and Sophie Nobbe won the 3200m Relay. Mangels, Kayla Haycock, Emma Hatton and Hanna also won the Distance Medley Relay.

800m Relay – Hilary Ernstes, Kayla Haycock, Koregan Kidd, Mary West

Pirate Track & Field hosted the annual Crossbones Relays over the weekend. Columbus North, Franklin County, Greenfield Central, Madison, Milan, & Rushville all competed in this unique meet. Athletes in the field events compete with a partner and their best performances are combined from their overall distance.

 

The Pirate boys’ team were able to capture three 1^st place medals, and were within an inch from breaking a meet record in the long jump that was set in 2005.
