A limited number of the boys track and field team participated at East Central Tuesday evening and performed well against the host squad and Batesville.
In a reserve format, the Pirates defeated the Bulldogs but came up short to the Trojans. Final team scores were: East Central 70, Greensburg 43, Batesville 39.

Placing 1st for the Pirates were: Luke Lozier, High Jump, 5’4″ and Shawn Partlow, 110 Hurdles, 20.4.
2nd place finishers: Joseph Pacilio, 110Hurdles, 22.3 PR; 300 Hurdles 48.2 PR; Dylan Brown, 1600m Run, 5:41.0; 800m run, 2:29.0; Bryan Bockover, 3200 m Run, 13:03 PR.
3rd place finishers: Jesse Hunter, Shot Put, 36′ 2 1/2″; Matthew Myer, Pole Vault, 9′; Partlow, 400m Dash, 1:00.3, 200m Dash 25.8;
Collin Springmeyer, 300 Hurdles, 49.9.
4th place finishers: Jackson Jones, Discus, 71′ 4″ PR; Hunter, Long Jump, 14’11”; Eric Lowe, Pole Vault, 9′; Blaine Schroeder, 1600m Run, 5:42.0; Devin Imel, 400m Dash, 1:00.4; Logan Woodruff, 800m Run, 2:34.0.
PR performances that did not place: Ryan Fisse, Pole Vault, 7’6″ and
Jesse Hull, 800m Run, 3:06.
The entire squad will be in action Thursday when they host Connersville.
