Decatur County, IN — The Decatur County Democratic Central Committee has elected Hollie Payton as the new county vice-chair.
Payton is currently employed with Girls Inc. as an Outreach Data Entry Specialist and is one of the Democratic candidates for the Washington Township Advisory Board in the November election.
“We are very honored to have Hollie on board as our new Vice Chair for the Decatur County Democratic Party,” said county party chair Chris Ramey. “We envision growth within the party here in Decatur County and will strive for strong community outreach initiatives to achieve that goal.”
She succeeds Ben Tylka, who served as party vice-chair for the past two and a half years.
“Ben is a tremendous asset to our party and community and we are grateful that he will stay involved with the local party as a precinct committeeman,” said Decatur County Democratic Party Treasurer Ryan Maddux.
