Pauletta Sue Pelsor, age 68, of Sunman, Indiana died Saturday, September 21, 2024 peacefully surrounded by her family at her residence in Sunman.
Born January 27, 1956 in Batesville, Indiana she was one of five children born to the late Paul & Grace (Gutzwiller) Fledderman. On August 13, 1977 she became the wife of Bayard Pelsor, and he survives.
Pauletta worked for many years at Oldenburg Academy, and most recently as an Administrative Assistant at East Central High School.
In her leisure time she enjoyed flowers and gardening, playing cards, watching the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals; she was for many years an avid bowler & golfer. She was also a talented musician playing the upright bass.
She was a member of Bernard Hurst Post #77 of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, and of All Saints Parish, where she and Bayard were part of the Music Ministry for many years. Whenever she was part of any organization, she was an active participant who took on leadership roles in various projects.
Besides Bayard, her loving husband of over 47 years, survivors include two children, Matthew (Megan) Pelsor, and Audrey Pelsor all of Indianapolis, Indiana; two grandchildren, Finnegan Pelsor and Sullivan Pelsor; two sisters, Rosemary Stirn and Judy Geiling both of Brookville, Indiana; a brother, Steve Fledderman of Mobile, Alabama; as well as several nieces & nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Fledderman, a brother-in-law, Doug Stirn, and a niece, Lily Pelsor.
Family & friends may visit from 4 until 7:00 P.M. on Friday, September 27, 2024 at Phillips & Meyers Funeral Home, 1025 Franklin Avenue, Brookville; where the Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M.
Rev. Jonathon Meyer will officiate the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, September 28, 2024, 11:00 A.M., at All Saints Parish St. Joseph Campus, 7536 Church Lane, West Harrison, Indiana. Immediately following Mass there will be a meal at the Bernard Hurst Post #77 of the American Legion, 1290 Fairfield Avenue, Brookville.
