Paula K. (Baker) Grant of Albuquerque, New Mexico, was born on May 10, 1953 in Batesville, Indiana, the daughter of Millard and Hazel Wilson Baker. She married Edward Grant on November 27, 1982 in Arlington, Texas, and he survives. Paula was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to fish, cook, shop for antiques and garden, flowers being her favorite. On Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at the age of 63, Paula passed away in Albuquerque.
Those surviving who will cherish Paula’s memory include her husband, Edward; children, Tabatha (Daniel) Kirby of Flower Mound, TX, and David (Stacey) Moore of Hurst, TX; 3 grandchildren, Victoria, Taffy and Cameron; brothers and sisters, Gerald “Dick” Baker of Metamora, Mabel Carey of Connersville, Skip Baker of Connersville, Sue Baker of Metamora, Jake Baker of Connersville, Mary Ison of Metamora, John Baker of Greenfield, Dolly Saterfield of Metamora and Greg Baker of Metamora. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by sisters, Irene Baker and Jeraldine “Mick” Baker, and brothers, Bud Baker and Butch Baker.
Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, November 13, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Metamora Church of God. Funeral services, officiated by Pastor Wayne Ison, will be held at the church on Monday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Cupps Chapel Cemetery.
