Patsy Marie Cowins, age 76 of Greensburg, Indiana passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. Born on November 21, 1940 she was the daughter of Perry H. and Rosa Mae (nee: Shuck) Imel.
Patsy married Arthur Cowins on June 23, 1957 in Shelbyville, IN. She retired from GECOM in Greensburg.
She is survived by her sons, Tony, Jamie & Darren Cowins all of Greensburg; daughter, Connie Cowins of Greensburg; 17 grandchildren and many great grandchildren; along with her siblings John, Robert & Earl Imel.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur, two daughters, Sherri Anderson & Tammy Lawrence, along with her brothers, Dennis, Charles, Buster & Billy Joe Imel, and sisters, Tillie Mae Imel, Peggy Gilland, Jane Simmons plus two grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, September 8, 2017 from 11am – 1pm immediately followed by 1pm funeral services all at Meyers Funeral Home, Batesville with Rev. Shawn Crisman officiating. Burial to follow in Rossburg Cemetery, New Point, IN. Online condolences www.meyersfuneralhomes.com
