Patricia Ann Dwyer, age 75 of Metamora, died April 25, 2018. Born January 18, 1943 in Cincinnati, she is the daughter of Mary (Nee: Hogan) and Thomas H. Erhart. One of four children, she grew up in Cincinnati and graduated from Mt. St. Joseph University in Cincinnati.
She married James Dwyer November 18, 1967 at Mt. St. Joseph University Mater Dei Chapel. Pat was a devout woman whose faith was important to her and she devoted herself to prayer. She had a special way of connecting with children along with a love for nature, animals and birds. Her family also indicated she had a passion for reading and was an exceptional cook.
She is survived by her husband Jim; sons and daughter-in-laws Sean and Nicki Dwyer, Patrick and Nica Dwyer; daughter and son-in-law Mollie and Jeff Peters; brother Daniel Erhart and grandchildren Mary, Ana, Sean, Samuel, Joseph, Thomas and August Dwyer and Timothy Peters. In addition to her parents, Pat follows her brother Thomas C. (Bud) Erhart and Sue Denk to the loving arms of Jesus.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 2nd, from 9 – 11 a.m. at St. Philomena-St. Cecelia’s Church in Oak Forest located at 16194 St. Mary’s Road, Brookville, Indiana, 47012. Funeral services follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jeffery Jambom officiating. Burial will follow at St. Louis Cemetery in Batesville. Weigel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
