Versailles, In. — Beginning Monday, (September 10) workers from North Vernon-based Dave O’Mara Contracting will begin asphalt patching operations on U.S. 50, in both directions, from the east side on Versailles to State Road. Following this segment, patching will continue west to the Jennings/Ripley County line.
When patching has been completed, milling and resurfacing will begin. All work is scheduled to be completed by November 15.
Motorists should be aware of workers and slow-moving traffic in and around the construction zone. The contractor will use changeable message boards to alert motorists where work zones are along the project.
