With 399 teams entered, the matchups for the 53rd annual IHSAA Volleyball State Tournament were announced Sunday evening.
Sectional play begins Tuesday, October 15 and continues through Saturday, October 19 at 64 sites across four enrollment classifications.
Two regional championship matches will be played in a doubleheader format at the same site on Saturday, October 26 with each winner advancing to a four team semi-state on Saturday, November 2.
The four state championship matches will be played at Ball State University’s Worthen Arena for the 18th consecutive year on Saturday, November 9.
Host sites will announce their respective playing schedules this week and the IHSAA will populate the MaxPreps.com tournament brackets that will be linked at IHSAA.org.
