(Sunman, IN) – A pair of entities in Sunman were recently awarded Rising Sun Regional Foundation grants.
Sunman Utilities received $30,000 for the rehabilitation of the town’s drinking water system and wellfield.
The money will be used to fund a preliminary engineering study, which town officials say is crucial to initiating upgrades to Sunman’s water facilities.
Meanwhile, Sunman Main Street was awarded $10,000 to be used for the park improvement project, which kicked off in 2021.
This includes purchasing what the agency is calling “much needed” equipment for the Sunman Community Park ballfields.
