Pacers Visit Philly Tonight

(Philadelphia) – The Indiana Pacers are in Philly tonight to take on the 76ers, looking to bounce back after a rough outing against the Pistons.

Indiana had been trending the right way after winning four of its last five, but the Pacers ran into trouble in Detroit, and now they’ll try to respond quickly against a Philadelphia team with plenty of firepower.

For Indiana, the biggest key tonight is Pascal Siakam, who continues to carry the scoring load at 23.6 points per game this season. With Tyrese Haliburton sidelined and Bennedict Mathurin also out, the Pacers need Siakam to be the steady hand — not just scoring, but dictating the pace when things get choppy and keeping Indiana’s offense organized.

Philadelphia has its own major question heading into tip: Joel Embiid is listed as questionable, and if he goes, Indiana will be dealing with one of the toughest individual matchups in the league.

Tipoff tonight is set for 7 p.m. Eastern.  You can hear that game on 103.9 FM, and on The WRBI App.
