Pacers Disappoint on NYE

Bennedict Mathurin led Indiana with 25 points

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Pacers dropped their third game in five days on Tuesday afternoon, falling 120-112 at home against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Indiana led by as many as 19 points in the second half after limiting Milwaukee stars Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard to their lowest first-half scoring output all year. Antetokounmpo turned his 4 points at halftime into a game-high 30 points and 12 rebounds.

Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said Indiana failed to play a complete game.

“Games aren’t 30 minutes long. The last 18 were abysmal and we all own it…” Carlisle said. “Going to have to learn some hard lessons from this and get ready to bounce back.”

Bennedict Mathurin led Indiana with 25 points. The Pacers return to action on Thursday night in Miami.
