(Greensburg, IN) – Bitterly cold temperatures and wind chills in the forecast Sunday night into Monday have prompted the Decatur County Health Department to open an overnight warming station for those who need to come in from the cold.
The warming station will operate at the health department office at 315 South Ireland Street in Greensburg Sunday afternoon starting at 4.
You’re asked to enter through Door 5.
The warming station will be open until 8:00 Monday morning.
To use the service, you’re asked to either volunteer at the shelter, or donate food or blankets.
