Osgood woman arrested for OWI

DECATUR COUNTY, Ind. — An Osgood woman has been arrested after a traffic stop.

According to police, Angela Meyer, 42, was charged with Operating a Vehicle While Intoxicated.

Police say they saw a vehicle near Westport traveling 35 mph in a 55 mph zone.

The officer also saw the tires on the passenger’s side of the vehicle leave the roadway.

Meyer then over-corrected and drove into the opposite lane before coming to a complete stop at an uncontrolled intersection.

The officer initiated a traffic stop and noticed that Meyer had slurred speech and had difficulty handing her driver’s license over to the officer.

Meyer failed multiple field sobriety tests, including a breathalyzer which read .24.
