Statewide — The Indiana State Department of Health has reported that 2,756 additional Hoosiers have been diagnosed with COVID-19 on Tuesday. A total of 595,436 Indiana residents have tested positive for the coronavirus. To date, 2,847,632 individual tests have been reported to ISDH at a 20.9% positive rate and 126 new deaths were reported for a total of 9,092 Hoosiers have died across the state.
Dearborn County has a total of 4,645 cases and 45 deaths reported (up 32 new cases and 1 new death), Decatur County has a total of 2,434 positive cases and 82 deaths (up 6 new cases), Franklin County has 1,444 positive cases and 33 deaths (up 6 new cases), and Ripley County has 2,943 positive cases and 45 deaths (up 6 new cases). Locally, this is an increase of 50 new positive cases and 1 new death.
