Switzerland County, In. — Indiana State Police say one person was killed in a Switzerland County motorcycle. The crash occurred around 1 p.m. Tuesday on State Road 156 near Concord Road.
Police say Steven Adams, 60, of Monticello, was eastbound when he struck a deer that ran into the roadway. The impact threw the passenger, Deborah Block, 50, off the bike. Adams and the motorcycle crossed the centerline inot the path of a car driven by Michele Disney, 63, of Milan.
Adams was pronounced dead at the scene. Bloch
was flown to University of Cincinnati Hospital with serious injuries. Disney was not injured. Alcohol or drugs are not suspected.
The accident investigation is ongoing.
