Franklin County, In.— A Saturday evening crash in Franklin County claimed the life of a Brookville man.
A report from the sheriff’s department says a pickup truck driven by John Graydon Richards II, 52, of Cincinnati, was eastbound on U.S. 52 east of Holland Road around 10:30 p.m. when he drifted into the westbound lanes of travel. Richards struck a car driven by George E Kraus 56. Kraus was pronounced dead at the scene.
Witnesses called 911 prior to the to report erratic, left of center driving by Richards.
Richards was treated at a local hospital and submitted to toxicology tests. The accident will be reviewed by the Franklin County Prosecutor.
