Greensburg, In. — Greensburg police made one arrest in an alleged case of child neglect last week.
Police responded to the 1000 block of North Park Street on Wednesday, August 30 at 8:37 a.m. on a report of two small children wandering in the roadway. Quickly police located a male and a female, both two years of age wearing damp, soiled clothing.
After canvassing the area police found a home in the 1100 block of North Anderson Street with the back door standing open. After several loud announcements by police Emilee Keith, 22, of Greensburg, came to the door.
When police entered they found the home to be in deplorable condition. Trash, food, waste, animal waste and clutter was reported throughout the home. Police said the amount of debris made it difficult to walk through the home.
Keith was transported to the Decatur County Jail.
