(Oldenburg, IN) – Congratulations to Oldenburg Academy senior Albert Hudepohl on being named the Serra Vocations Essay Contest winner.
The contest is sponsored by the Archdiocese of Indianapolis’ Serra Club, which is an organization that promotes vocations to the priesthood and religious life.
It is open to students in grades 7-12.
“My vocation is something I should be living now, not later. My vocation is not a destination years down the road,” Hudepohl said. “Instead, it is how God is calling me to live my life today, and he wants me to love: my vocation is love.”
Hudepohl was presented the award at OA this week.
His essay will be printed in the archdiocese’s Criterion newspaper in a few weeks.
