NORTH VERNON, Ind. — Back in 2012, the City of North Vernon was designated as a Stellar Community and received funding as part of that designation.
Now 5 years later, the city is nearly complete with a $15 Million project.
The project was funded mostly through grants and loans only available from the Stellar Designation.
The city has worked the past 5 years to close out extensive downtown improvements.
Finishing touches such as adding signs are being completed.
