The North Decatur Lady Chargers fell on the road to Jac-Cen-Del by the final score of 53-43 on Tuesday night. Jac-Cen-Del was ranked #10 in class 1A coming into the contest with a record of 8-2. North started quickly jumping out to a 7-point lead after the 1st quarter and putting up 22 points. Jac-Cen-Del defensive adjustments disrupted the Charger offense for the next two periods, where only 6 Charger points were scored. North outscored Jac in the final frame to cut the deficit but ultimately Eagle’s execution and free throws put the game on ice. The loss drops North Decatur to 6-5 on the season and will open conference play up at home on Friday night against Waldron (5-6).
