North Decatur Girls Track Starts Strong

The North Decatur Girls Varsity Track team started off their season with a 1st place finish against South Decatur and Rushville.

First place finishers included;

Sarah Moeller in High Jump with a mark of 4’8”.

Ellie Johnson in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:55 a new PR.

Ava Lecher in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:10.

Madi Allen in the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.49 and the 300 meter low hurdles with a time of 51.34.

The 4×8 team including Ava Lecher, Ellie Johnson, Mallory Deaven, and Nora Amberger, also finished 1st with a time of 12:21.

 

Also earning points were:

Freshman Nora Amberger placing 3rd in the 1600 meter run and 3rd in Long jump.

Freshamn Sophie Rohls placing 2nd in High jump.

Freshman Ellie Metz placing 2nd in Discus.

Sarah Moeller placing 3rd in the 100 meter high hurdles and the 300 meter low hurdles.

Ellie Johnson placing 2nd in the 1600 meter run.

Mallory Dehaven placing 3rd in the 3200 meter run.

Mary Stier placing 4th in the 200 meter dash.

Emmerson Gunn placing 2nd in the 3200 meter run.

Lauren Miller placing 3rd in the 800 meter run.

Madi Allen placing 3rd in Long jump.

 

Lady Chargers compete next in the Triton Central Invite Friday April 11th at 5:00pm.
