The Chargers executed a complete game in front of a packed Homecoming crowd to defeat the visiting North Daviess Cougars 38-0. The Chargers dominated all three facets of the game, but the defense stood out, allowing their opponent only 3 first-downs and 77 yards of total offense. Kayden Scudder led the Chargers’ defense with 2 tackles, 3 assists, 2.5 tackles for loss, and a sack. Mason Morris contributed a timely interception and Dylan Coons had a fumble recovery. The Chargers played hard-nosed, relentless defense. Offensively, Morris was 11 of 16 for 124 yards, two touchdowns, and no turnovers. Junior Owen Eldridge was Morris’ favorite target along with senior, Kaden Muckerheide. Sophomore, Tyler Dean, contributed 133 yards rushing of the Chargers total 237 yards of ground game. Aiden O’Dell was 1 of 2 on field goals, 3 of 4 on point after attempts, and had 2 touchbacks in the kicking game. The Chargers will face the Edinburgh Lancers at Ed Kaelin Field for Senior Night.
