North Decatur Football

The relentless Charger defense remains unscored upon through their fourth week of regular season play – the only team in the state of Indiana that can make that statement.  With their 36-0 victory over the visiting Shenandoah Raiders, the Chargers remain unbeaten in the Mid-Eastern Conference with only one conference opponent left to play and the championship in sight.  The Raiders entered this contest averaging approximately 200 yards of rushing yards per game.  The Chargers held them to 119 yards of total offense – 102 on the ground and 17 in the air.  Unfortunately for the Raiders, the Chargers once again found the end zone multiple times on offense, defense, and on special teams with Reid Messer running a fake punt for a touchdown.  The Chargers galloped their way to 323 yards of total offense in 19 minutes of possession.  Senior Reid Messer had more rushing yards than the entirety of the Shenandoah team and senior Carson Parmer threw for more yards than the entirety of the Shenandoah offensive production.  All told the Chargers faced a tough, physical opponent and held firm to their commitment to efficient and effective offense and relentless and tenacious defense.  The Chargers next face 2A Lapel on the road
