North Decatur boys varsity basketball earns record setting win over Southwestern Shelby

On Friday night, the Chargers surged out to an early lead and never let it go, defeating Southwestern Shelby by a final score of 67-31.

Leading the Chargers in scoring was Kaden Muckerheide, who finished with 25 points, 2 assists, and 5 rebounds.

Other scorers for the Chargers included:

Lance Nobbe with 16 points, 1 assist, and 10 rebounds

Reid Messer with 8 points, 2 assists, and 10 rebounds

Blake Spears with 7 points, 5 assists, and 3 rebounds

Cooper Parmer with 4 points, 1 assist, and 3 rebounds

Mason Morris with 3 points and 1 rebound

Jack Koehne with 2 points

Owen Eldridge with 2 points and 1 rebound.

The Chargers finish conference play with an undefeated record of 6-0. The Chargers also improve to 18-4 on the season, which sets a new regular season win record for the boys basketball program (the previous was 17).
