North Decatur Boys Cross Country Sets Multiple Personal Records

The North Decatur Cross Country team traveled to South Decatur on a hot and humid afternoon to compete in the seven-team Invitational and ran some of their best times of this young season setting multiple personal records (PR) in earning a second-place finish.

Junior Eli Weisenbach set a new PR in his 3rd place finish in a time 18:32.  Also setting a new PR was Jackson White in 20:29 crossing the line in 10th place followed by Cletus Rennekamp in 11th with a new PR in 21:47.  Junior Sam Cathey ran a tremendous race with a new PR of 22:11 finishing 17th.  Jayden Lawrence ran a 27:05, Teagan Striecker 27:11 and freshman Clayton Ruf had his best run of his young career setting a new PR with a time of 27:36.

The Chargers return to action on Saturday at the Rushville Invitational.
