The North Decatur Chargers competed Saturday at the IHSAA Sectional at South Dearborn and placed 11th overall.
The boys had a great day with multiple personal records. It is very promising to see so much improvement and season/career-best times coming at Sectional and peeking at the end of the season.
Leading the way for North Decatur was Sophomore Kaysar Bowles qualifying for Saturday’s Regional at Franklin finishing 33rd overall in a new PR time of 19:01. Senior Ryan Hancock set a new career PR with a great time of 19:45 and freshman Eli Wesienbach broke the 20-minute barrier coming with a new PR time of 19:59. Freshman Logan O’Dell also lowered his PR with a time of 20:35. Junior Noah Weisenbach set a new PR finishing in 20:49. Adam Wade came across the finish line in 22:37 and Senior Mason Dimett concluded his career in a time 24:32.
Congratulations to all the Chargers and their great effort this season and to Kaysar Bowles as he prepares for Saturdays Regional at Franklin.
