Milan, IN – The North Decatur Chargers boys basketball team travelled to Milan to take on a former sectional opponent on Tuesday night. Stats and box score are all below!
The Chargers offense exploded in the first quarter, hanging 26 on the Indians, then another 21 in the second quarter. They held onto a 13 point lead going into halftime behind a strong performance from Cooper Parmer.
The lead began to dwindle late in the third and early in the fourth, But the Chargers did a good job of fending off any comebacks and adjustments the Indians tried to make and kept the game just far enough away where Milan couldn’t take advantage and get a lead. Free throws and easy buckets breaking the pressure at the end of the game sealed the deal for the Chargers as they improve to 9-11 on the year.
