FRIENDSHIP, IN — The National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association (NMLRA) marked the first day of the 2022 Spring Shoot at Friendship on Saturday by cutting the ribbon on the renovated trap line at the Walter Cline Range.
“We were able to revamp the trap line, and now we have 120 shooting stations, three brand new trap houses that will allow us to host ATA (Amateur Trap Association) events,” NMRLA Field Rep Aaron Moystner said.
Moystner added the $400,000 project was paid for through grants and donations.
“It took a whole lot of people to get it done and a lot of donated time and money to get the trap range the way it is now, and we appreciate everything,” Moystner said.
The NMLRA Friendship Spring Shoot continues through Sunday, June 19.
