Lawrenceburg, In. — The Indiana Department of Transportation will close eastbound U.S. 50 in Lawrenceburg between 8 p.m. and 7 a.m. from Monday, August 14 to Friday, August 18. The closure is required while crews unload and set beams for the Tanner’s Creek bridge project.
The mile-long closure will be patrolled by police.
Officials say four concrete bridge beams will be set each night, depending on weather and river levels.
The $6 million project is scheduled to be complete by Thanksgiving.
