Nichole “Kole” Gail Knotts Jackson, 39, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away February 15, 2017 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
She was born July 4, 1977 in Lawrenceburg, IN, daughter of the late Jerry Lynn Koons and Lisa Wismann Koons Willis.
Nichole worked as a Floor Tech for Ridgewood Health Campus in Lawrenceburg, Indiana.
She was a member of the Aurora VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 5312. She loved the outdoors, photography, playing board games and word games. Nichole also enjoyed fishing and camping. She is “pupmaw” to Toby & Kyrie.”
Surviving are her grandmother, Betty (late James) Wismann of Aurora, IN; mother, Lisa (Carl) Willis of Osgood, Indiana; children, Maria Dianne Ashbrook of Rising Sun, IN, Paul Dennis Jackson of Aurora, IN, Anna Gerilyn Jackson of Aurora, IN; brothers Scott (Heather) Knotts of Aurora, IN, Cory “Mac” Willis of Risiing Sun, IN; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; special friends/family, Shannon Smith Bradley and Richard Scott Ashbrook.
She was preceded in death by father, Jerry Lynn Koons, uncle, Donnie Smith, maternal grandfather, James B. Wismann, paternal grandfather, Elbin Wyndell Knotts and paternal grandmother, Carol Lee Smith..
Friends will be received Tuesday, February 21, 2017, 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Aurora, 6060 Blair Rd. Aurora, Indiana.
Services will be held at the church Wednesday at 11:00 am with Pastor Bill Secrest officiating.
Interment will follow in the River View Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
