New Point, In. — The Decatur County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a report of an attempted burglary at the Midtown Diner in New Point. Reports indicate around 9 p.m. Sunday an unknown number of subjects ripped screens and broke the back door. An alarm scared the criminals away before anything else could be taken or damaged.
