
The public is invited to tour the $4 million operations center which serves as a hub for INDOT maintenance activities across Dearborn, Franklin, Ohio, Switzerland and parts of Decatur and Ripley Counties.
Wednesday’s open house hours are 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
Special recognition of the Aurora Fire Department will be made at 10:15 a.m. for its facility support to INDOT until the new subdistrict complex could be constructed.
The Aurora Subdistrict services 975 lane miles of state highways and interstates within the district.
