Batesville, in. — Thanks to $40,000 from the Rising Sun Regional Foundation, $5,000 from the Hillenbrand Foundation and $1,000 from Walmart Batesville Fire & Rescue has purchased three cardiac monitors
The department’s existing monitors has become unserviceable and an upgrade was necessary.
The new cardiac monitors will be placed in ambulances and are vital pieces of equipment for local first responders. In many cases, the cardiac monitors can mean the difference between life and death.
