SOUTHEASTERN IN — National Night Out events are planned for this week in several local communities.
The City of Greensburg will observe National Night Out from 5 until 8 pm Tuesday at North Park with a free cookout.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office will host National Night Out from 5 until 7 Tuesday night with a free cookout at the new Brookville Aquatic Center. Those who attend will also be admitted to the aquatic center free of charge.
Batesville will observe National Night Out Wednesday evening from 5:30 until 7:30 at Liberty Park.
National Night Out is an annual event held around the country that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.
