NAPOLEON, Ind. — Over the next few weeks, the Napoleon Volunteer Fire Department will be conducting a simple income survey across their service area.
The fire department needs the information for a grant that they are applying for.
If awarded the grant, the money will be used for the construction of a new fire station in the community.
A random sampling of addresses across the area will be surveyed to determine eligibility as a community for the funding assistance.
If you live in the service area, you may receive a phone call or a knock on the door.
The survey is quick and simple, and officials say it should only take around 2 minutes to complete.
