Nancy (Shelton) Smith, 84 of Dillsboro passed away March 25 2017 at Waters of Dillsboro. Nancy was born in Dillsboro on October 18, 1932 to Jesse and Alma (Neimeyer) Shelton. She was a member of the Dillsboro United Methodist Church and Dillsboro American Legion Auxiliary. Nancy owned and operated the Dillsboro Diner. She loved to cook meals for her family and the public
Nancy is survived by son: Tracey Adkisson of Dillsboro; Bill (Mary Ann) Adkisson of Erlanger, Ky; 8 Grandchildren, 25 Great-Grandchildren, 11 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, 1 sister.
