Candy Tibbetts

Candy Tibbetts, of Aurora, Indiana, passed away March 24, 2017.

She was born December 7, 1944 in Cincinnati, OH, daughter of the late Frank Cecil Woliung and Virginia (Baker)Woliung

She worked for over 50 years as a beautician, most recently at Classic Design.

Candy was a forty year member and past President, of the Aurora Eagles Auxiliary. A St. John Lutheran Church member, and she volunteered for the children’s charity “Just for Me”. Candy enjoyed shopping, country music and Bingo. She ran the Bingo at the Eagles for several years. Candy also loved to cook. She had the best macaroni salad, vegetable soup, chocolate éclairs and cherry cheesecake ever. What Candy enjoyed most was her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving are husband, Bernard “Bernie” Tibbetts of Aurora, IN; children, Debbie (Dave) Gutapfel of Sunman, IN, Sandy Kaiser of Aurora, IN; Rick Kinnett of Lawrenceburg, IN, and Darin (Michelle) Tibbetts, US Army; sister, Bonnie (Eugene) Land of Lawrenceburg, IN; grandchildren, Jonathan Kaiser, Ashlee Eckerle, Whitney Kaiser, Spencer Gutapfel, Tyler Gutapfel, Kelsey Thompson, and Brielle Tibbetts; and three great-granchildren, Carter Gutapfel, Ashton Eckerle, and Bailey Thompson.

She was preceded in death by parents, Frank Cecil Woliung and Virginia Woliung.

Friends will be received Tuesday, March, 28th from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at Rullman Hunger Funeral Home, 219 Mechanic St., Aurora, Indiana.

Services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, March 29th at the funeral home with Pastor Edward Davis officiating.

Interment will follow in the River View Cemetery, Aurora, Indiana.
