Greensburg, In. — Decatur County Circuit Court Judge Tim Day sentenced Cecil Thompson II to 18 years and two months in prison for two counts of felony burglary and possession of methamphetamine.
A guilty plea for a battery case resulted in a sentence of time served.
Prosecutor Nathan Harter said, “Mr. Thompson’s sentence was appropriate and fair for his offenses, both the new ones and the past ones that established him as an Habitual Offender. We hope his time in the jail will help Thompson to reflect on his choices and rejoin society as a better citizen at the end of his sentence.”
